Dr. Schulz has enjoyed the beautiful outdoors of Idaho all of his life; hunting, fly fishing, backpacking, skiing, golfing, and mountain biking from the forests of the North to the sagebrush steppes and high mountain lakes of the South. He grew up in Eastern Idaho and went to the University of Idaho in Moscow, earning degrees in Accounting and Animal Science. Dr. Schulz graduated from Washington State University with a DVM in 1988 and has owned the Vista Animal Hospital since 1991.
Dr. Bev Schoeberl received her DVM from Oregon State University in 1997, completed a one year internship in Sacramento at a group veterinary practice, and joined Vista Animal Hospital in 1998 after relocating to Boise. She works as a general practitioner in providing veterinary care for both cats and dogs in “all ages and stages” of their lives. Dr. Schoeberl has also completed additional training in Veterinary Acupuncture (Colorado State University) and Chinese Herbal Medicine (Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine) and offers complementary and integrative care for her patients.
She lives with her husband and two boys. An Oregon native, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking with her dog, and escaping into a good book. “I feel fortunate to work in the veterinary profession helping owners care for their pets. “
Dr. Kimber Zahller has been working at Vista Animal Hospital since the beginning of 2009. She enjoys living in Boise with her husband Matt and her two sons. She loves being entertained by her smart and active dog Kayla and her loving cat Bailey. Dr. Zahller enjoys playing her violin in a local Irish folk band, taking her family camping, whitewater rafting, hiking, snowshoeing and family trips. In her spare time she likes reading, scrapbooking and being with her family.
Dr. Zahller grew up in Great Falls, Montana. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Montana State University. While in school she worked at the State Diagnostic Lab in Microbiology and Clinical Pathology. She completed her senior project and internship at the USDA laboratory for foreign animal disease at Plum Island. Dr. Zahller received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University.
Dr. Heather Wright has been a part of the Vista Animal Hospital team since May 2015. Her professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and oncology. Her top priority is to strengthen and maintain a long and healthy human-animal bond. Dr. Wright brings a fresh new approach to the clinic with the latest techniques in veterinary care. Dr. Wright is a native Idahoan and completed her undergrad work at Boise State University. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University.
Dr. Wright and her husband Tom live in Boise with their Golden Retriever Cassie and Pomeranian Dakota. In her free time, Dr. Wright enjoys Idaho's great outdoors and likes biking, camping, and hiking.
